Dear Donald

Dear Donald
I won’t take up too much of your time
Being Commander and chiefs the only thing you see there
And that’s fine
But i gotta ask one thing in a rhyme
Just to make sure my eyes don’t lie and get the facts in this straight line
Why do you hate the progress
You’re making a mess
You’re building a wall to hold out all the Mexicans you can
I know you understand
Thats why you run around
You probably even laugh at Carson when he’s not around
Sometimes I wonder what its like to sit and act

A small lone of a million dollars is just a really simple fact

  1. Theresa,
I wish that Donald Trump was forced to sit and listen to the points you've made in your letter. As a Hispanic member of the lower middle class, I appreciate that you mention Trump's ridiculous intention to build a wall on the US/Mexico border. The level of depth and meaning in your verse matches that of Atmosphere's "Little Man."

  2. Theresa,
This is such a great poem. I loved how you said Donald, not trump! I agree with Cruce, I loved when you made the lyric of your building a wall on the border of US/ Mexico. Great job making a point just as the song "Little Man" did.

  3. Theresa,
This is a great, well-written poem! I love how you made it very personal to Donald by saying, "You probably even laugh at Carson when he’s not around," that was very effective. Also I liked that you called him "Donald," to, yet again, make this song more personal!
