Sonnet practice

Sonnet 11

I write this beat and stomp my feet sometimes
The music makes my heart create the chimes
I feel excited and create rhymes
And I clap and feel like its the old times

Now, I smile and and say, “Can I kick it?”
The words have gave me the power to sprint
I look at the calendar and I’m split
And I know I’m ready to eat this mint

Sometimes this rap is too hot to dance to
Though I sit down slow and do not feel bad
I cool down and look at the great skewed view
Though I know I really need something plaid

I know my heart will never fade for you
Because I love you and your big good notes
I shall fight the resistance to break through
And I am now ready with this these boats

So long as I breathe, I will love music
So long live this, and my big cool tunic
