Twenty Little Poetry Projects

Twenty Little Poetry Projects

Pigs are four-legged creatures, who also have a set of wings
Ya right, when pigs begin ascending into the air
Pigs are as stubborn as Trump, making the faces and all
Pigs are as pink as a newly born baby girl
Yet they get as dirty as the tire of a Monster Trunk in a rally
Their oinks are as mellow and monotone as someone using sarcasm
But they are abrupt as a hiccup
A pig’s belly when hungry, growls as loud as mixing the colors green and purple
I once knew a pig named Cornelius, who lived in Amsterdam
But he never oinked mellowly
But enough of Cornelius, I never liked him anyway
If had to go on a date with a pig, I would most likely yak
But whatever yaks must always yak a masterpiece
“But he was like, no, I actually really liked Nickleback.”
Thats when I knew I had to leave that date
but as they always say, the tasteful pig of wisdom hold more than they eye beholds
This pig was a great source of warm, smooth, creamy milk though
The pig loved to tango, especially when on the dance floor
But he was no match for Scooters dance skills
Little did they know they would have to battle for the ultimate tango dance floor challenge
This challenge would produce silent cheers from the crowd
This challenge would leave the two draining all of their time into the floor
Es una reto el tango bailarines no les gusta
The floor would be crying from being stomped on so hard
In the end, the one who’s leg extends the longest, who’s smile shines the brightest, and who’s hips lie the least will come out and rain as victorious

  1. You definitely nailed the assignment, and your end result is mind-boggling, which was to be expected. This poem makes me question what poetry is. Good work, Scottie.
