For me, “living the dream” isn’t just some short saying hanging on the wall of a bedroom,

For me, the dream is a state of existence in which I have fully achieved

In the time when the days are longer, the sun is brighter, and the stars are shinier,

I paddle out into the horizon not to leave behind my knowledge, but to gain more

With the glistening water, I can perfectly see my reflection

I stare into my eyes knowing that I am all I have ever wanted to be

I see a smile creep on my face

And I know

This is my happy place
